Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you're part of a dedicated team that handles all of our back-office processes. From day one you take responsibility for the core processes assigned to you and work together with your team to further develop them.


The core processes of the operations team are essentially:

  • Onboarding of new cooperation partners (insurance brokers) and their customers;
  • Setting up and maintaining our direct connections to insurance companies;
  • Billing of insurance commissions to the cooperation partners as well as all related tasks (controlling of incoming billing, 2nd level support in case of complaints, processing of electronic insurance and brokerage data)
  • General administration of our cooperation partners, e.g. Assistance with technical difficulties


Your tasks:

  • Planning, implementation and controlling of your responsible processes together with the Head of Operations: expected commissions, actual commissions, payments.
  • Communication and correspondence with insurance companies and intermediaries in terms of timely data exchange. 
  • Specialist contact for questions about your topics for both the internal and the field service.
  • Creation of error messages/tickets for IT, if change needs were identified
  • Collaboration in projects as subject matter expert, e.g. in process optimisations
Qualifications & Skills

  • You have a commercial education and/or a degree and bring industry experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
  • Professional experience in daily operations highly recommended.
  • Have worked in process definition & process improvement projects.
  • Safe handling of MS Office and its common applications is a must.
  • Ideally, you have previously worked with Salesforce.
  • You work in a structured, independent and results-oriented way
  • High quality awareness and proactive approach in your daily work
  • Fluent English & Spanish - both verbally and in writing
  • Confident appearance and team spirit in an international environment
