We're looking for a Senior Node.Js Developer to join our awesome web team to help us to build and improve our API strategy. We work with the philosophy of API First, where we design our API as a product and later we jump to make the business logic inside.

To help us to develop the platform for Insurance distribution. The company wants to create the platform really innovative technologies and take care of architecture. The solution will be available for multiples insurance and this year will be one of the key projects for our strategy.

Your daily work will focus mainly on the development and maintenance of the features that are being developed in the API. We work using best practices (Testing, Code Review...) and in an environment of agile methodologies. You will work side by side with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team distributed among our different offices around Europe.

Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in node development
  • TypeScript
  • Application of CSS best practices
  • Experience developing in client/server applications (REST, JSON)
  • Experience with VCS (Git)
  • Love for new technologies, clean architecture, coding in a decoupled way
  • Have a continuous improvement mentality
  • Able to work rotating teams and groups
  • Fluent in English
Would be a plus:
  • Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
  • ECMAScript 6 (ES6)
  • RxJS
  • Use of CSS preprocessors like SCSS
  • Docker
  • Angular 2+
  • Experience developing Single Page Applications
  • Server languages: Ruby and/or PHP
  • Tasks automation with Grunt and/or Gulp & Webpack
  • Tests with Selenium (WebdriverIO)
  • Tests with Jasmine and Karma
  • Deployments on AWS with CI
